G. B. Burlotto is a winery established in the 19th century by Giovanni Battista Burlotto, renowned for elevating Barolo's fame internationally. Barolo Monvigliero, one of the winery's most famous wines, is produced in Monvigliero and is known as one of the most iconic wines of the region.

The wine is characterized by aromas of roses, cherries, and raspberries, with the addition of truffle notes, resulting in a wine with strong tannins and acidity. Its spiciness is subtle, not overpowering, and harmonizes well with the floral and fruity aromas. Known for improving with age, it becomes more refined and complex after at least 10 years of aging. Over time, the flavors develop layers, making it a wine famous for its ability to mature gracefully over decades.
